For whatever reason, this subject is a little-known fact to most who play Warframe. Umbra Warframes. For those who don't know, Umbra is Latin for Shadow. These new Shadow frames are currently exclusive to China, but will be coming to systems elsewhere. My question is when...does anyone know?

or later. umbras are some of the most hyped things in warframe, it's gonna be like prime access for nidus on steroids. knowing this DE most likely doesn't wanna disappoint, and so they're taking a long time. as they should. we dont need another khora.

The Reason Khora flopped was because she was supposed to come based on damage 2.5, but since that got scrapped, she got overhauled. My guess is that Umbra's abilities may be similarto normal excal so theremay not much to change there, the Quest however, Now that needs to be a great ride

DE did says in one of em devstream, there'll be more umbra frames.But I doubt they'll be quickly released. I have a feeling you will need to solve as umbra excal did.

umbra anubis and umbra nidus would look awesome also super huped for the rest of umbra frames does anyone know if there is going to be anubis prime or nidus i know its out of topic but still asking

So, a lot of people keep asking to add new umbra Warframes and... I cant exactly disagree. However while more umbra Warframes would be awesome, I feel like it may also take away from the lore of the story and from player satisfaction in a big way. Loads of people feel that because we already have primes, the Umbra Frames are kinda redundant, and to be perfectly honest, having a Frame like Ash Umbra would be pointless. In light of that, I have a suggestion. Only make Umbra Frames for the Starter Warframes. Done. Fixed. Think it through guys. the entire point of being able to choose your starter Warframe was because people wanted alternative ways to play. Adding Umbras of only the starter Frames makes way more sense. That way, players other than Excalibur mains get to be reunited with their old frames, but they're actually usable in late game missions. Also it helps to avoid turning stealth Frames like Ash into completely counterproductive rage monsters that scream and kill everything, dontcha think?. The only other Umbras that could maybe be added without huge uproar from the other half of the player base would be Valkyr, whose entire thing is that she's powered by anger and a desire for revenge, and Garuda, who, according to the lore, 'will always crave blood, hate, and death.' That's a quote by the way.
